It's a work thang

I've been told to post something! but it's hard because I still don't have the internet at home yet (saturday) and don't like doing it from work. (though apparently I don't have a problem trawling the internet for pictures of Britney Spears looking trashy/drunk/stupid to email a colleague who thinks Britney is planning the mother of all comebacks and can't wait).

I was also forwarded this today: Neologisms for 2007
(As the theme of this blog is work, I've pulled the most relevant)

* TESTICULATING. Waving your arms around and talking bollocks.

* BLAMESTORMING. Sitting round in a group, discussing why a deadline was missed or a Project failed, and who was responsible.

* CUBE FARM. An office filled with cubicles.

* PRAIRIE DOGGING. When someone yells or drops something loudly in a cube farm, and people's heads pop up over the walls to see what's going on. (This also applies to applause for a promotion because there may be cake.)

haha- not that I've ever really worked in an office with scary cubicles (I'm currently separated from my collegues by bulletin boards propped up by magazine holders).

The point:
My internet access is all about work right now and until it's not (Saturday) I can't really post anything until (Saturday) then.

I have to use Blamestorming now. It happens so often and now there's a word for it. It's like one of my high school English classes where they asked people to make up a word for a concept where a word doesn't currently exist.
