the post is 10 out of 10
Basically I've been rubbish this last few weeks and would like to provide a quick update (must be quick as am at work-no internet at home yet- one reason for not updating the old blog). I'm also going to try and use as many britishisms as possible).
brilliant!
Patricia and Wayne's wedding part III, (the coles notes version)
Dinner was excellent. Julia spills red wine on james's expensive shirt -- in retrospect, dancing with red wine is maybe not the best idea. James tries to dip Julia, but instead drops her on the dance floor. Julia's skirt balloons out, flashing everyone her Bridget Jones-style scary pants.
John, Paul, James, Monique and Julia go dancing in Salisbury, insulting the bouncers at club because we refused to pay a 10 quid cover charge--because why would you pay 10 quid to go to a club in Salisbury. It's not London.
James ties Julia's jacket round his waist, where she forgets it. It was well worth it though because the next morning, after texting James in a panic about the jacket, when James asks --where did you leave it--She got to text back 'around your waist'
The jacket (and moniques shoes were found together the next morning --somewhere in the hotel). Good night all round!
and the rest:
We moved into a nice one bedroom. It has a patio and dark hardwood floors and laundry
I also went bowling http://www.bloomsburybowling.com/ with people from work (place describe as retro and fab) and beat everyone -- I won by 50 points. now, this is not to say that I played well, just that people in the UK don't bowl. But now everyone thinks I spent all my spare (ha ha) time in Canada bowling. Not sure if that's the coolest office reputation
to have.
Our old Landlord is also taking the piss by not giving us back our deposit. John's had to get shirty with him. Very annoying, inn't
And last night, my friend's band played in Shoreditch. I'm well impressed with them http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=81609906
especially the song 'Dawn of the Robot Popapocalpse' radical
